Here are a few easy steps to create more energy naturally:
- Two or three hours before your need for energy (game or workout) consume complex carbs, healthy fats, and a small amount of protein. This will allow you to sustain energy throughout the whole day.
- Complex carbohydrates are typically found in beans, peas, sweet potatoes, brown rice and vegetables.
- Healthy fat options are avocados, natural butter, coconut oil, eggs and Omega-3s.
- Approximately 30-40 minutes before your need for energy (game or workout) consume a piece of fruit. The natural sugars will allow you to create more energy without a massive spike in energy leading to a hard crash. Note: Drinking the juice of the fruit is not the equivalent.
- Fruits we recommend are dates, bananas, pineapple, apples, plums, pears, oranges, berries and more.
Post workout routine is just as important as your Pre Workout routine. Paired with the RADO Nutrition Post Workout, you need to consume amino acids from animal proteins.
