Unwrap your fresh salmon and rinse under cold water, pat salmon dry, then cut into equal sizes. It should be around 4 portions.
In a mixing bowl, combine olive or avocado oil, lemon juice, basil, oregano, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
Pour over salmon and ensure salmon is fully covered in marinade.
You should try to allow marinade to soak in the refrigerator with the salmon for at least an hour. Preheat your grill or skillet to medium high heat. The salmon will then need about 4 minutes per side over this heat.
